Intensive Outpatient Program

At Dallas Behavioral Healthcare Hospital, we provide a wide range of services designed to help those in need of quality care. Our skilled and highly trained professionals offer programs that are tailored to people who need behavioral healthcare but do not require inpatient care.

This type of structure allows program participants to continue to work, go to school, and return home each day while still receiving the care they need. Our services help to reduce and stabilize symptoms, strengthening mental wellbeing and resilience.

What Does the Intensive Outpatient Program Include?

Our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) offers the care needed while still allowing participants to go about their daily routines. Part of the process involves combating the stigma associated with behavioral health issues. To help program participants see that they are not alone, group treatment and activities with others receiving similar care are included.

The IOP typically involves three hours of treatment per day, three days per week. This combination of intensive outpatient care and flexibility helps participants find the care and support they need. Below are some of the IOP group therapy and psychoeducational topics that are typically covered.
