Adult PsychiatricAdults 18 and over with acute psychiatric issues can experience safe, secure inpatient care through our Adult Psychiatric program. Our inpatient care program is designed to stabilize patients as quickly as possible while they undergo a comprehensive treatment program that includes group and family therapy, medication management, recreation, expressive therapies, and more. This program is ideal for patients suffering from depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis/schizophrenia, anxiety, and substance-related disorders with psychiatric symptoms.
Adult Dual DiagnosisFor adults suffering with psychiatric illness compounded by substance abuse and/or use, Dallas Behavioral Healthcare Hospital offers the inpatient Adult Dual Diagnosis program. Designed to address both the psychiatric and chemical dependency diagnoses, patients engage in a 12-step model program, cognitive behavioral therapy, and other treatments that emphasize gaining and maintaining sobriety.
Child & Adolescent ServicesFor children and teens ages 5 through 17 who are suffering from emotional and psychological disorders, Dallas Behavioral Healthcare Hospital offers an inpatient program with a goal of stabilizing immediate concerns within a safe, structured environment that includes 24-hour monitoring. Treatment includes comprehensive assessment, group therapy, medical management, and family involvement, along with evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
Geriatric Inpatient PsychiatryOur Geriatric Inpatient Psychiatry program is designed to help patients 55 and older return to their best possible state of health when suffering from depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, or mild memory loss. Treatment, led by an interdisciplinary team experienced in geriatric psychiatric treatment, includes a personalized multidisciplinary approach that provides safety, confidentiality, and further education.
Partial Hospital ProgramFor adults 18 and over who do not require 24-hour monitoring in an inpatient setting, our Partial Hospital Program is available Monday through Friday from 9am to 1:30pm, including onsite lunch break. Patients participate in group therapy and learning on psychoeducational topics to help manage depression, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, chronic suicidal ideation, personality disorders, family/interpersonal conflicts, co-occurring disorders, and chemical dependency.
Intensive Outpatient ProgramsAdults 18 and over who have achieved some stability but who continue to require intensive therapy can participate in our Intensive Outpatient Programs. Programs run Monday through Friday from 9am to 12pm and continue IOP group therapy and psychoeducational topics to help further stabilize and manage depression, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, chronic suicidal ideation, personality disorders, family/interpersonal conflicts, co-occurring disorders, and chemical dependency.
Women's ProgramThe Dallas Behavioral Women's Program is a comprehensive gender specific behavioral health program consisting of medication management and therapeutic interventions; provided in a serene environment conducive to growth and wellness. The clinical program is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and focuses on providing individuals with the skills needed to create lasting change.
